Our safety promise

18+ only. Everyone confirms their age. We remove anyone who lies about it.
No dating, no romance. This is a friendship website. Romantic or sexual approaches lead to removal.
Double opt-in. Nobody gets your name or email unless you both say yes.
Online first. In-person introductions come only after a free ID and age check.
Sami will never ask you for money. Not for a ticket, a gift, a loan or a "favour". If anyone claiming to be Sami does, it's a scam. Report it.
Delete your data any time. Here's how.
Not therapy. If you are in danger or thinking of hurting yourself, please find help now.

We do not run criminal background checks. Every letter is read (by Sami's AI assistant, with risky ones going to Sami), but we can't verify everything people tell us. You decide whether to meet anyone, and you are responsible for your own safety.

Before you meet

Talk by email or video first.
Tell a friend who you're meeting, where and when.
Never send money, gifts, crypto or bank details to anyone you met here, for any reason.
Don't share your home address, workplace or daily routine yet.

When you meet

Meet in a busy public place in daytime: a café, a library, a museum. Not at home, not in a car.
Get there and leave by yourself.
Keep your drink and your phone with you.
You can leave any time. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
This is friendship, not a date. If someone makes it romantic or sexual and you don't want that, leave and report it.

Afterwards

Anything feel wrong? Report it. Reports always go to Sami, a person. We aim to look at every report within 24 hours. If you are in danger now, call your local emergency number first.
